Individualized Research Support

Visit us during the library's open hours. You will find an attentive team of  Research Specialists ready to assist you with your questions and an array of unique resources to draw from. If time is limited, we will combine our individual skills and continue the search for you.


​Research Requests
Our team of Research Specialists are available to assist you with your questions. Submit your Research Inquiries by email or call us by phone for any topic related to Clackamas County or to identify relevant resources within our library holdings. Our standard fee is $5.00 per hour plus copy and mailing fees as applicable.

Research requests related to the history of Clackamas County include:

  • People & Places:

  • Genealogy, Human Rights, Women

  • Exploration & Westward Expansion, Maps, Events, Towns, cities, Buildings

  • Government, Economics, & Transportation:

  • County & State, Laws & Officials

  • AND…so much more!​

CCFHS IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION, WITH A FOUNDATION STATUS CLASSIFICATION 501 C(3).

Your contribution may be tax deductible under current IRS ruling, Federal ID 393-09608070.

Become a CCFHS member and receive our 20-page quarterly newsletter, "The Legacy", high- lighting local events, interesting articles, & vintage photographs. Membership is valid for one calendar year, January through December. If you apply mid-year, you will still receive four issues, the full year, of The Legacy.
